This page shows the kitchen room box.
This is a
full colour photo of the kitchen room box. It is 13 inches across at the
front but only 9.5 inches across at the back, 8 inches high. It was intended
as a display item on my show stand (not for sale), and to be photographed
for my mail-order brochure. The cat was a gift from a friend and likes
to sit on the settle. This seat and the dresser were made by Barré
Funnell. They were so admired that he drew the plans for these and the
other wooden furniture (see the page for Kitchen
Furniture Plans) so that model-makers could build their own versions.
The table and chair
used to be in the kitchen but they make the photo too cluttered and so
they have been photographed separately. The
Range and the coal scuttle came from Phoenix
Model Developments.
