This page features what I think of as the 'ornamental' stoneware items, intended for a patio or garden.

These two lions were designed for a Spanish gentleman recreating, if I understood him correctly, his ancestral home. I made the railings, posts and pillars for his mansion, but as I never sell the exclusive of any model, I reused the lions in something a little less grand, suitable for a patio, see below.

The
material used for these ornaments is white coloured, high-fired semi-porcelain
with some extra flux in the body to produce a smooth partly vitrified
surface. It is intended to resemble the very best Portland stone or limestone/marble.
The statue of Ceres is taken from an antique seen outside a stately home.
The bust is more suitable for inside the house.

Both
of these planters have been seen before but they are featured here as
items suitable for use as containers for patio plants. The leaves are
photo-etched fine brass sheet, supplied by Phoenix Model Developments
