gives information, details, dimensions and prices in £ and $ of
the Lenham Pottery Models one-tenth scale Cart Horse.
This
model is of a Shire Stallion at one tenth scale, but it has been given
the name of 'Cart Horse' to distinguish it from the 1/8th Scale Shire
Horse. It costs £170, which includes packing and delivery by
Royal Mail special delivery service (insured - requires signature on arrival).
The price to the USA by 'Air International Signed For', insured delivery,
is $337.

It is in more of a show stance than the Shire Horse, and as such would be suitable for a show harness. It has a free flowing mane and a partly braided tail with coloured ribbon. It will fit all farm carts and waggons and implements, but is ideally suited to heavy trade waggons and drays in exhibition turnout. It stands 7 inches to the withers, (17.2 hands at tenth scale). This model could also be regarded as a Welsh Section D Pony of 14 hands at 1/8th scale, as this breed is a miniature Shire horse used for draught work in the Welsh hills.
The photo shows a light bay, satin finish, with black mane and tail and four white socks and a broad blaze on the nose. I can colour it in all normal horse or pony colours, in gloss or satin finish. Allow 3 inches between the shafts.
