This
is the fourth page for dog models and features eight images, Jack Russell
Terrier to Maltese.

I give
these three models a larger than average slot, together with the
Large Sitting Keeshond shown below, because they were the founder
'members' in my list of dog models. The puppy was in production
by about 1960, the small sitting model came soon after with the
standing dog model. |

Because
there were no commercially available china models of Keeshonds,
it was easy for me to sell the small models at Club Dog Shows.
When in Germany, 1966 - 68, I also attended more than one Dutch
Keeshond Club Show, and was asked to make a really large model
for them. They wanted to use it as a collecting 'box' for donations
to club funds, so I made them this model, with a slot behind the
ears for the money to go in, and cut a large hole in the base
with a cork to stop the money falling out until it was handed
over to the Treasurer.
I still
have connections to the Keeshond Club, and make models for them.
